Referenced Files as a Service is a project to allow users of Revit to upload and share files in the cloud for their architectural projects. The intention of the project was to create workflows to make it easy and intuitive for users of Revit, Autodesk's 3-D architectural modeling software, to upload, attach, and share files in the cloud with other project stakeholders. As the lead UX designer for this project, I led research and stakeholder sessions to understand the scope of the project, helped in shaping requirements, and proposed a UX workflow which enabled users to upload, attach, share, and monitor the status of the many cloud-hosted files that are needed to augment a set of drawings and 3D models that comprise an architectural project.
